Melalui halaman resmi Facebook perusahaan, XSEED Games mengkonfirmasi bahwa game The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky Second Chapter akan diluncurkan pada pertengahan tahun 2014 mendatang.  Sekuel game yang sudah lama dinantikan kehadirannya ini rencananya akan diluncurkan dalam format digital untuk game versi PSP (melalui PlayStation Store) dan melalui Steam untuk game versi PC. First Chapter yang sudah diluncurkan ke PSP wilayah Amerika Utara pada tahun 2011 lalu, nantinya akan dirilis juga ke PC melalui Steam pada musim dingin tahun ini. Pada halaman pengumuman yang sama di Facebook, XSEED mengklarifikasi tentang jadwal perilisan semula yang ditetapkan pada awal tahun 2014. Sebagai informasi tambahan, The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky Second Chapter yang pertama kali dirilis ke PSP wilayah Jepang pada tahun 2007 lalu, merupakan game terbaru dari seri game Legend of Heroes yang akan dilokalisasi ke wilayah Barat.
